Weekend Recap (4/8/16 - 4/10/16)

Friday (4/8):

  • It's Vince's 6th Annual 29th Birthday! I got him a Bebop and Rocksteady t-shirt and presented him with a Money In The Bank briefcase with fake tickets and a contract for him to sign.
  • We decided to eat at Pin Kaow for dinner
  • Dan and Corinne couldn't play with us like they usually do on Fridays. Instead, we played L4D2 with Joel and his cousin Kevin.

Saturday (4/9):

  • We had an 11 am appointment with a different realtor to check out a house that Vince's mom recommended. I immediately disliked the place. I didn't like where the house was located and how cramped it felt for a 2-storey building.
  • Vince's parents had a party to attend and wanted to meet up at 2 pm. We had some time to kill so we decided to watch "Hardcore Henry." Absolutely fun and violent movie, and I didn't get motion sickness either!
  • Ate at Capital Grille with Vince's parents. We walked around Fashion Show for a bit. Vince bought his dad's bday gift after they left.
  • Got some boba smoothies from Volcano Tea
  • Took a long nap, woke up to play games, then actually went to bed

Sunday (4/10):
  • Watched some TMNT and ROH before going to Costco for a grocery run
  • Went around Downtown Summerlin and had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen
  • Took a nap then woke up to make the mango chutney for the steamed Salmon dinner. Then we watched Animaniacs, Person of Interest, and The Flashpoint Paradox movie on Netflix before going to bed

What to expect for Monday Night RAW:

For some unknown reason, Shane McMahon is running RAW again this week. This really might be the beginning of the end of the corrupted Authority storyline seeing how HHH, Stephanie, and Vince McMahon was pulled from the show at the alst minute. The main story will be on Reigns and Styles once again, which may be announced as the main event for the next PPV, Payback. The rest of the show will most likely focus on the all the new NXT callups (Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews, and Enzo and Cass), building up some storylines for the Women's division, The Wyatt Family is getting some storyline progression, and hopefully getting some damn updates on what's going with the IC and US titles.

I don't expect Ambrose to be on the show. If he does, it's probably Ambrose back in TV mode, where he barely cuts a promo, is directionless since he's not chasing a title, and is put in random matches just for the sake of making appearances. He had 1-minute squash match against Tyler Breeze on Smack Down and he had a brief staredown with Chris Jericho last week. After his WrestleMania loss, I don't see Ambrose continuing his "indestructible" trait for long. Still love the guy, it just sucks how WWE instantly killed his momentum and credibility.
