Weekend Recap (4/1/16 - 4/3/16)

Friday (4/1):

  • I got out of work early
  • We wanted to order some food to watch NXT. Originally opted for Pasta Idea, who said it would take an hour before it's ready for pick up. We got annoyed, tried to order pizza, which was too far from us, and opted to order from Pasta Idea in the end.
  • NXT TakeOver: Dallas was on tonight. It was hands down the best TakeOver event ever, purely because of great debuts, shocking moments, and best of all, pure and simple wrestling. No gimmick, no stipulations, and all the clean wins and losses mattered.

Saturday (4/2):

  • We looked at some houses at Central park estates. We only got to 2 of them (with the tenants showing us around). Vince's parents liked it but didn't like the HOA monthly fee being that high.
  • Decided to hang out with Joel and Pam for late lunch. We ate at Hot N Juicy Crawfish
  • Went to Big 5 Sporting Goods then to Lee's Sandwiches for some smoothies. Sorsha peed on Vince! Then we went to their place for a bit. Vince played The Division. It looks... ok.
  • Went to Wal-Mart buy some last minute ingredients to make Pork Bell Curry before heading home.

Sunday (4/3):
  • Watched ROH (3rd episode filmed in Las Vegas) and finally a glimpse of us at our seats!
  • Stayed in to watch WrestleMania 32 from 2 pm to 8:45 pm. It was a decent PPV but overall a disappointing WrestleMania. I'm not even going to make a blog post about it. Instead I'll rant here!
  • The Walking Dead finale was stressful. Negan and Lucille made a great debut but they left it ambiguous on who Negan kills off. We have to wait til the fall to see who was killed off. Vince and I know who it was in the comics but we're hoping the show would go a more shocking route and kill Rick or Daryl off.

What to expect for Monday Night RAW:

AJ Styles lost. The New Day (as faces) lost. Neither Sasha Banks or Becky Lynch won the brand new Women's Championship title. Shane O Mac lost. The Wyatt Family looked like goobers to The Rock and John Cena.

Dean "indestructible Iron Man" Ambrose lost in the most disappointingly short WrestleMania match of his career.

And yet I'm still going to watch Monday Night RAW. What's wrong with me.
