- Went to eat at Lola's for dinner. Vince had shrimp pasta and I had shrimp and grits. So Cajun!
- Played Diablo III with Dan for a bit
Saturday (9/5):
- Went to Target to look for tabletop BBQ grills. We're planning to bring one in October, when we join Dan and Corrine in the cabin they're renting towards the end of the month. We couldn't find any good ones.
- Went to Costco to see if they had any. Found out they were selling the last of their smaller BBQ grills last week and all of they had left was the really big one.
- Went to Best Buy and bought the 2 new Disney Infinity 3.0 figures of Mulan and Quorra from "Tron: Legacy"
- Went home and played Diablo III for a bit before sleeping early
Sunday (9/6):
- Andrew, Joanna, Vince and I went to Ice Box Canyon at Red Rock in the morning
- Took us about 2 hours to reach the end of the trail, which was sadly a dried up waterfall area
- On the way back, we encountered Joel and MJ. We thought we could all head back together but MJ was throwing a weird tantrum and being upset at, well, everything. No matter how much Joel negotiated with MJ, it always ended up with her only saying "ok" and then not doing what she was told :/
- We ate at Wahoo's for lunch and had Vivido Gelato for dessert. That's when I got a text message from Joel that they finally got back to the car, which was about an hour after we left the parking lot.
- Wasn't feeling well after we got home. I kept dozing on and off on the couch as Vince played MGSV
Monday (9/7):
- Went out and did a lot of shopping
- Went to Target and bought new boots and a new picture frame for the W2K16/Dean Ambrose collage. Yup, being a dork again.
- Went to Seafood City to get pork belly. Had to take pics of 3 different kinds of packaged pork belly before settling on the one Vince wanted.
- Went to Walmart to finish up on grocery shopping. Dammit, I can't find that Dean Ambrose birthday card anywhere! - Briefly helped Vince in preparing Chicken and Pork Belly Adobo
- Went to the gym. I haven't really worked out since Wednesday because I was starting to feel sick after the Gamestop Expo. I usually feel or get sick after going to conventions.
- Watched/suffered through Monday Night RAW, which I've decided not to make a separate post on because I was only half paying attention. Aside from Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns being on auto-pilot and winning clean against The Ascension, a great backstage segment involving Seth Rollins, The New Day, Edge and Christian, and The Dudley Boyz, and a fan jumping the barricade to walk alongside Rollins during his entrance at the main event, tonight's RAW felt very, VERY, unbearable to watch. It was like Smack Down booking.
Ambrose mentioned in a recent interview that whatever mood he's feeling that day, he'll show it in the ring. If he's in a good mood, he'll be a bit goofy. If he's in a bad mood, he'll be scowling. I'm guessing for tonight; it was the latter. I thought that jacket was gonna rip in half O_O
